Permutation no. 783

$225.00

I recently found some vintage math and science textbooks here in Quito. This piece is taken from a page from Geometria Plana Con Coordenadas c. 1970. I’m going back and exploring compositions that play with rotating and scaling the Permutation shape, which I think complements the compositions that include mathematical equations and illustrations. This Permutation, for example, rotates two differently sized Permutations and rotates their center axes. The concentration of ink at the points creates a lot of dimensionality.
