Since moving to Vietnam, sourcing art supplies has become more challenging. In September of 2021, I had five sheets of black paper left. This is one of the 5 pieces I made using that paper. It’s surprisingly hard to come by here and I still don’t know when I’ll be able to leave the country and come back without spending way too much money, so I won’t be making any more pieces on black for a while.
There’s something really interesting happening in this one that I want to come back to. I might do it in a larger format (I will have to, since I only have large format black paper left at the moment).
